Rikshem updates the base prospectus for its EMTN programme and the green financing framework

Apr 25, 2025 09:00 - Press release

Rikshem publishes the annual update of the base prospectus for its Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme, which has been approved by the Central Bank of Ireland. In connection with the annual update, the green financing framework has also been updated.

Rikshem has long been established in the green financing market and the proportion of green and sustainable financing has gradually increased over the years. The green framework is now being updated, which means a clearer adaptation to parts of the EU taxonomy's criteria and creates the prerequisites for additional green financing that contributes to Rikshem's long-term sustainability goals. The framework has been reviewed by the independent research institute Morningstar Sustainalytics, which confirms that the framework is credible, impactful and in accordance with ICMA's Green Bond Principles. Rikshem has been advised by Handelsbanken.

"As one of Sweden's largest private real estate companies with residential properties and properties for public use, Rikshem has a clear goal of contributing to the development of a sustainable society. Green and sustainable financing contributes to our long-term sustainability goals, and with the updated green financing framework, we enhance the requirements and align the criteria more clearly with the EU taxonomy," says Anette Frumerie, CEO of Rikshem.
